I had just sold my home in Nampa, Idaho where I ran a successful Travel Nurse Housing and Airbnb business. I was planning on downsizing and moving to Northwest Washington to be close to the Canadian border since my daughter married a Canadian Surfer and moved to Tofino, BC!

After several trips to find a home I could afford there, my Realtor Tracy Volpi called me and said "You have got to look at this place for sale in Parma, Idaho. It is gorgeous and you will make it into something great!"

She saw the vision of a Wedding Venue to which I promptly said "No way!" I saw the Airbnb potential and threw out an offer, not expecting it to get accepted but it did!

After living in the Old Church, I realized it had a much greater purpose and after learning the history of this beautiful Chapel built in 1938 by the local community to have a place to worship and grow as a congregation. Over time they outgrew the Chapel and people bought it converted it into a home.

 

Fast forward to 2024 and it literally fell into my hands. It took months of convincing to look at the Wedding and Event Venue option and as I did, I discovered, this was what she was meant to be! Though she is in a small rural Idaho town, this beautiful Chapel is getting ready to once again hear wedding bells ring, host events that bring the community together and make a difference in everyone's world.

 

Chapel Hill Events Center was born - she's a quaint beautiful Chapel sitting on a hill beckoning people to come and celebrate life's fantastic events!
